There has been some work done for running the planner on Mac, there are still a few issue however.' Does anyone know how this is going or when it might be. Open the.dmg file to see the one additional package files that needs to be installed: the FTDI USB Serial Driver.To install the packages, they will need to be opened by control-click. the icon and select ‘Open’.

Quick Start Guide¶

  1. Install APM Planner for Mac OSX,Windows and Linux.
  2. To setup your ArduPilot, PX4, or Pixhawk autopilot, complete the topics inthe Autopilot Setup section. If your autopilot hasalready been configured using Mission Planner, there is no need toredo calibration.
  3. Connect to Mavlink and get to know APMPlanner’s Flight Data.
  4. Plan a mission with APM Planner.
